FLY is a young business with big plans - a true start up looking to change the face of yoga in London. We want someone to help us get in there and shake it up.
FLY came about when our founder tried to find a yoga studio that spoke to her. She wasn’t ready for deep dharma and om-ing - she wanted the physical benefits of yoga. After overhearing two girls discussing how uncomfortable they felt in yoga class in the changing rooms of an established studio, she decided to create a new type of yoga experience. The gateway drug to yoga.
This is a chance to join a tight team at the beginning, help create that new experience, and shape the future of the brand. We need someone who is passionate about crafting a fun, irreverent brand, and is willing to get their hands dirty. Someone with attitude. Who’s happy to take the pi$$. Genuine. Creative. Outgoing. The Head of Brand & Marketing will work closely with the Founder to drive brand development and awareness, increase engagement and grow new leads into the business.
Working with the Founder to develop and evolve the brand identity through the production of marketing materials, social media content, brand partnerships and events
Refining and updating our website, consistent with brand identity
Overseeing and executing production of content, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns that are consistent with brand identity and liaising with PR team
Building, managing and overseeing social media content schedule to develop brand identity, drive brand awareness, build following and social proof
Creating and managing content consistent with brand identity to drive engagement and develop community
Developing and executing the marketing strategy – covering digital marketing, social media, corporate partnerships and events – that is in line with the business priorities and assists to drives sales
Sales, improving the quality and quantity of leads into the business
Developing a performance analytics framework to measure success of initiatives, refine them and increase conversions
Providing marketing and sales reports to the leadership team and investors
Optimizing our marketing and lead nurturing process through email, content, our website and other channels
Working with the studio team to build and execute an events strategy and calendar that is consistent with the brand identity, works seamlessly with marketing campaigns, increases brand awareness and drives sales
Experience growing a B2C brand but now ready and excited to build a new brand
Creativity and a passion for brand strategy and identity
Well rounded, with ability across digital media, content creation, campaign planning, and sales
Strong focus on, and understanding of, performance and data-driven marketing across SEO/FB/IG etc
Committed, hard working, flexible and excited to build a brand in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Able to work autonomously and take ownership of the role
Experience of Mailchimp, Squarespace or similar platforms/providers
Understanding of the impact of your role on the wider business and its success
Design experience/experience with Adobe suite is a plus.
An interest in fitness is key but candidates from a non-fitness background are welcome. Experience in fashion/ retail marketing is a plus.
